The University of Akron Office of Research Administration (ORA) exists to support UA’s innovative research endeavors.  ORA is committed to providing the highest level of service to our research community, through responsiveness, communication, and transparency.  We strive to be a Lean operation by using technology and tools as they become available, streamlining our processes, and providing user-friendly products. 

The ORA is a team of dedicated professionals who strive to assist UA researchers through every step of the process: from finding funding, to proposal submission, to award receipt and negotiations, and through award closeout.
