IFC Executive Board
The University of Akron’s fraternity community, consisting of 436 men in 12 chapters, is governed by the Interfraternity Council (IFC) Executive Board. The IFC Executive Board is made up of eight members of the community holding the roles of President, Vice President of Judicial Affairs, Vice President of Recruitment, Vice President of Community Engagement, Vice President of Public Relations, Vice President of Health and Safety, Vice President of Member Development, Vice President of Operations.

VP of Recruitment Serves as chair of the IFC recruitment committee; Coordinates all IFC recruitment activities; Head of Recruitment Ambassadors; Evaluates each semester’s recruitment |
Vice President of Operations Records the minutes of all meetings for IFC; Keeps orderly files for IFC; Oversees treasury needs; Keeps track of IFC intramural points and Code of Conduct Cards |
VP of Public Relations Promotes all IFC activities via social media and traditional media; Maintains the IFC website; Serves on the recruitment committee |
VP of Health and Safety Maintains the alcohol and risk management policy of IFC; Holds even registration meetings; Promotes the mental health and wellness of the IFC community |
VP of Judicial Affairs Maintains a current copy of the Constitution and Bylaws of IFC; Serves as chair of the Interfraternity Council Judicial Board; Responsible for the implementation IFC scholarship policy and roundtables |
VP of Member Development Holds leadership development events; Holds roundtables with new member educators; Plans new member convocation; Promotes diversity and inclusion within the IFC community |
