Division of Student Success

The student success team is dedicated to the academic and career success of all UA students. Central to its work is the The Akron Experience, a series of initiatives that create a personalized path for students, from their first time on campus through a lifetime of achievement. The Akron Experience also creates connections between the classroom and career-related opportunities, all designed to broaden horizons and prepare students for personal and professional success.

On behalf of the staff and students who work in the Division of Student Success, I invite you to become engaged with us as we create the most unique and outstanding Akron Experience tailored specifically for you.

Our staff is dedicated to enhancing and supporting your lifelong learning, and above all, your success. Of paramount concern is our ability to provide the best services and programs, allowing you to maximize your potential and achieve your professional dreams.

Our site showcases the units within our division. We strive to help you achieve success in and out of the classroom, to help you feel connected, and to help you become a more involved, engaged member of The University of Akron community.

We hold walk-in hours on Fridays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Tuesdays from 4 to 6 p.m. in Student Union 323. Stop by for help with any question, challenge or issue you have experienced. We endeavor to support you on your pathway from being a successful college student to a connected alumnus or alumna.

Please be in touch to let us know how we're doing.

Best wishes for ultimate success as a University of Akron student!
