OHIO CYBER RANGE INSTITUTE -
REGIONAL PROGRAMMING CENTER

The University of Akron was named an Ohio Cyber Range Institute Regional Programming Center (OCRI-RPC) to support local, state, regional, and national needs of professionals and provide educational and operational support for K-12, higher education, government, and business organizations. The cyber range is a virtual space for conducting exercises and competitions to improve emergency preparedness and cyber incident response capabilities. The activities planned at The University of Akron align with the mission of the OCRI, with collaborative and innovative programs, that advance Ohio's cybersecurity infrastructure to professionals, students, educators, government, and organizations.
