Dr. Stacy Willett, Professor and Lead Faculty of the Emergency Management and Homeland Security (EMHS) degree at The University of Akron, was invited to discuss the program during a half-time ESPN interview.
During this short interview, Dr. Willett discussed the creation of the first accredited EMHS program in the world, why the program began, the diverse student base, and the wide-reaching impact graduates have had over its now twenty-year history.
