Alana Weber is a second-year Graduate Assistant in the Arts Administration Graduate program. She earned her B.A. in Music Education and Performance from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. Miss Weber subsequently earned her Master’s Degree from Kent State University in Clarinet Performance. During her time at Kent State, she served as a Graduate Assistant with the clarinet studio and orchestra. Her decision to pursue Arts Administration at the University of Akron came from her experience with the Kent State University Orchestra as one of the first Graduate Assistants managing the orchestra operations.

As a performing musician and active music teacher her goals are to connect to artists of all disciplines and audiences to continue perpetuating those interactions. Miss Weber participates on the faculty of Grove City College in Pennsylvania as the clarinet instructor, and also as the clarinet instructor at the Kent State University Stark Campus.
