Group exercise

  • To ensure the safety and enjoyment of participants, class participation is on a first come, first serve basis. Class size is determined by format.
  • Class participation is closed to latecomers 10 minutes after the scheduled start time. This reduces risk of injury due to incomplete warm up activities.
  • Appropriate attire is required.
  • Personal items must be kept in provided cubbies or lockers.
  • Participants may not enter studios or designated pool area until directed by class instructor.
  • Participants are required to follow the instructed format (e.g. performing same basic exercise as the rest of class). The instructor will show modifications of exercises to best suit varying fitness levels of participants.
  • Group cycling passes are available at the check-in desk 30 minutes prior to the start of each cycling class on a first come, first served basis. Members may check out an available pass using their Zip Card or SRWS membership card. Passes must be checked back in to the desk after class in exchange for the member ID card.
  • Participants are required to return all equipment to its proper location in equipment storage room or racks.
  • Report any injuries, and facility or equipment irregularities such as broken, worn, or frayed pieces to instructor.
  • Instructors’ names will not be listed on published schedules.
  • Properly dispose of gum, bottles, or trash in proper receptacles.
