Zip Hop

Blend a solid workout with hip hop choreography. Zip Hop is designed for all levels of experience and runs every Thursday from 9-10pm in Studio B. This 10 week program kicks off with a free demo on 9/6 and continues through 11/1. Registration for the entire program is $10 for students and $20 for members. Sign up online or in the SRWS Pro Shop before 2/1.

American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certification Preparation Course

Interested in becoming a group exercise instructor or personal trainer? This eight-week course is designed to help you achieve these goals. You will be able to work at your own pace, and at the end you will be well prepared for the certification exam. The course will be conducted through Brightspace and includes the following components:

  • American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid certification course
  • ACE exam voucher
  • Acess to study materials
  • Opportunities to shadow professionals and teach mock clients/classes

Enrollment begins August 1 and ends September 24.

Couch to 5k

Prepare for the UA 5k. The Couch to 5K training program is designed to safely progress runners’ skills in a supportive environment over the course of 8 weeks. Our certified running coach will meet the group on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting August 14th from 5:30pm-6:30pm rain or shine! Registration is $40 for SRWS members and $60 for non-members. This program is available to all fitness levels. Registration ends on August 15th, you may register online or at the SRWS Pro-Shop.
