IMPORTANT MESSAGES

CALLING ALL ZIPS!

Due to the forecasted rain, SpringFest activities have been relocated from InfoCision Stadium to the Stile Athletics Field House on Friday, May 1, from 4-8 p.m.

This traditional event is free to all UA students with a valid Zip Card. Enjoy inflatables, henna and caricature artists, psychic readers, custom trucker hats, photo keychains and so much more.

Throughout the Field House, goodies such as boba tea, a themed t-shirt, ice cream sundaes, crack corn, custom stickers and keychains will be given out to UA students (while supplies last).

If you would like the SpringFest t-shirt, you must enter from the main Student Recreation and Wellness Services doors (through the arch). As soon as you enter the main doors, you will take a right to get in line for the t-shirt giveaway. From there, you can enter the rest of the event.

Students have only Thursday from 2-5 p.m., and Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., to pick up their $12 food voucher at the Department of Student Life Admin Desk. You must be present to claim food voucher and there will be one voucher per person. There will be no replacement for a lost voucher. No additional food vouchers will be handed out at SpringFest. Redeem your food voucher at one of ten food trucks. Food trucks will be outside of the Field House on Union Street. Alcohol will be available for purchase for those 21 and older. Only service animals are permitted to enter the Field House.

WEAPONS DETECTION

To help keep SpringFest a fun and safe activity, all attendees will pass through the EVOLV weapons detection system, like at sporting events. Please remember to leave all metal and potentially dangerous items at home. For ease of entrance, it is recommended to bring no bookbags unless medically necessary.

SERVICE DOGS

SpringFest is an exciting and active environment. There will be a large number of people present with a variety of noises. This activity can often create an extremely stressful environment for dogs and other pets. Out of care and concern for the safety and well-being of all, only official service dogs are permitted at SpringFest activities.

UA STUDENT EVENT

This event is intended for the enjoyment of University of Akron students. All complimentary experiences are reserved exclusively for students with a valid ZipCard.

Guests who are not University of Akron students are welcome to attend; however, participation is limited to:

• Purchasing food from food trucks
• Paying for select add-on experiences (e.g., permanent jewelry)
• Enjoying the event atmosphere

Non-students are not permitted to:

• Sign waivers for inflatables or interactive activities
• Receive free giveaways
• Participate in prize drawings

Please note: This policy also applies to children of students/staff.

FOOD

$12 VOUCHERS

1,500 food vouchers each worth $12 will be passed out to UA students.

Pick up your $12 voucher during the week of SpringFest at the Department of Student Life Admin Desk (1^st floor, Student Union - across from the Roo Lounge). 300 vouchers will be passed out on each of the following days:

Terms: Must be present to claim food voucher, one (1) voucher per person. No replacement for lost voucher.

• Monday, April 27, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Tuesday, April 28, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
• Wednesday, April 29, from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• Thursday, April 30, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• Friday, May 1, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

FOOD TRUCKS

*IMPORTANT: Food trucks will be located on Vine St. in between Stile Athletics Field House and InfoCision Stadium.*

All food trucks will have special meal options to redeem food voucher. Trucks may have limited menu.
