Biography

Denise Astorino just recently returned to her home state of Ohio (Cleveland area) after five years of living in Mississippi. She has an MFA in Directing from University of Essex /East 15 Acting School in London, UK and a BA in Theatre from Cleveland State University. Besides teaching at U of Akron, she works part time as the Lorain County Coordinator of the LGBT Center of Greater Cleveland and the Lorain County LGBTQ+ & Allies Community Task Force. She has been part of the Northeast Ohio Theatre Community for over 20 years and looking forward to being involved once more.
