Biography
Dr. Benjamin earned her Ph.D. from the University of Iowa in 2016. She specializes in early modern Spanish literature and cultures with a focus on intersectional approaches to gender and travel throughout the early modern Hispanic world. Her teaching interests also include all levels of language instruction and Spanish language and cultures for the professions.
