Andrew Thomas shares expertise on aviation safety

Dr. Andrew Thomas, assistant professor of marketing and international business, was interviewed for a Univision story on post-9/11 airline security.  He was also quoted in an article for the Akron Beacon Journal.

He noted that 100% security is not possible, unless we remove all passengers, flight crew, baggage, and cargo, and stated, “while we need to accept some inherent risks with airline travel, it is the responsibility of government officials to minimize those risks where possible.”
