Mindful Movement at the Cummings Center

October 22, 2021, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

National Museum of Psychology and Lynn Rodeman Metzger Galleries

Join us for Mindful Movement with University of Akron dance students Molly Bagatto, Rachel Carpenter, Emily Dustman, and Makenna Zelenak! Visitors of any ability are welcome to attend. Enjoy some light movement and stretching activities led by dancers in different exhibits around the Cummings Center for the History of Psychology. Event attendees will receive free admission to the National Museum of Psychology and Institute for Human Science and Culture Galleries. We recommend wearing running shoes and clothing that you feel comfortable moving in, and bringing a yoga mat or towel to stretch on. Four 30 minute sessions will be held at locations around the Cummings Center between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM, and visitors are welcome to stay for as many sessions as they would like.

We hope to dance with you after a long week of classes!
