Title: Assistant Professor
I specialize in the rhetorical, theoretical, and medical relationships of bodies and prosthetics. My research interests include medical and scientific rhetorics; medical humanities and bioethics; theories of bodies, genders, and (dis)abilities; cyborgs, somatechnics, and post-humanism.
My collection Feminist Rhetorical Science Studies: Human Bodies, Posthumanist Worlds (co-edited with Julie Jung) will be published in Winter 2018 by SIUP. I've also published essays in Intercom; Present Tense: A Journal of Rhetoric in Society; Disability Studies Quarterly; and the International Journal of Feminist Approaches to Bioethics.
My teaching areas of expertise include Professional Writing; Disability Studies; Rhetoric and Theories of Science, Technology, and Medicine; Gender Studies; and Rhetorical Theory and Practice.
