SHIFT

Institute for Human Science and Culture

SHIFT was created by students in the Myers School of Art Installation Art course, which is devoted to the exploration of the principles and creation of installation. "Installation" refers to the site-specific creation of sculpture, resulting in a new environment for the viewer that is responsive to the physical architecture of the space. Students were challenged to design work that fits within the specific parameters of the Institute for Human Science and Culture's 3rd Floor Atrium, while maintaining their own personal style.

This course was taught by Instructor Julie Schenkelberg.
