WINTER INSTITUTE 2024

WHO should attend?

Legal professionals seeking CLE credits. Registrants will earn approximately 12 hours of CLE credit, which includes professional conduct hours. (Exact number of CLE hours and professional conduct hours will be confirmed as the 2024 program schedule is constructed.)

WHAT is the event?

The 17th Annual Akron Law Winter Institute. In addition to CLE credits, the Winter Institute also offers the opportunity to gather with familiar and new fellow alumni and friends at a beautiful upscale venue.

Reservations Procedure:

The Online Group code is 1120MX. Book your reservation by one of the following options:

1. Call LaPlaya Beach and Golf Resort's Reservation Department at 800-237-6883 and reference the University of Akron 2024.
2. Visit LaPlaya Beach and Golf Resort's website. Select the icon "Book Now", enter the dates of stay and the group code 1120MX. The group code must be entered in order to receive the group rates. Rooms may not be available online for pre and/or post dates.
3. Visit our designated group link: Reservations (LaPlayaResort.com). Guests will need to enter in their dates of stay. Again, rooms may not be available online for pre and/or post dates.

**The discounted lodging rate has lapsed. Room availability at LaPlaya Beach and Golf Resort cannot be guaranteed due to the end of the discounted rate registration deadline.

Registration deadlines:

• Early-bird registration before January 5, 2024 is $550 per person
• After January 5, 2024 registration is $600 per person
• All registrations must be received by January 19, 2024
