The Department offers several courses that may be used to satisfy the University's general education quantitative reasoning requirement.
3450:135 Math for Everyday Life. This course is intended for non-science majors who do not intend to take any further mathematics courses. It satisfies the general education mathematics requirement.
3450:145 Algebra for Calculus. This course is intended for science and technical majors. It satisfies the general education quantitative reasoning requirement, although students are expected to progress from Algebra for Calculus to 3450:149 Precalculus, 3450:208 Introduction to Discrete Mathematics, 3450:210 Calculus with Business Applications, or 3450:215 Concepts of Calculus, depending on their degree requirements.
