Del Rey Loven
LOVEN was born in Thief River Falls, Minnesota and grew up in Minneapolis where he graduated from Minneapolis College of Art and Design with a BFA in Painting and Drawing. It was there that LOVEN came under the international influences of visiting teacher/artists Fred
LOVEN's paintings have been exhibited in numerous group shows including the Baltimore Museum of Art, Minnesota Museum of Art, Butler Institute of American Art, Santa Monica Art Museum, Cornell Art Museum, and Louis Meisel Gallery, New York City.
Solo shows of LOVEN's work include Dacia Gallery (New York City 2013), Kenneth Paul Lesko Gallery (Cleveland 2012), Emily Davis Gallery, University of Akron (2008). A solo show of new work is scheduled to open in 2017 at Kenneth Paul Lesko Gallery.
