Dr. Dale Mugler
Dean Emeritus of Williams Honors College

Friday, Nov. 8, 2019
10 a.m.
The Honors Complex, Jacobson Common Room

”During college, Honors students learn the most from…..”

As former dean of this Honors College (2000-2015), it is not unusual for Dr. Dale Mugler to list a presentation title like the title above that includes a question.

This presentation will ask you to think about what part of your education at UA is preparing you the most for your future. Building on years of experience of teaching and working with Honors students, Dr. Mugler will provide many examples of Honors alumni and what they have done after graduation.

Dr. Mugler was a faculty member with a joint appointment in Mathematics and in Biomedical Engineering prior to his leading the Honors College starting in year 2000.

Did you know that one of the co-founders of Apple once gave a talk in the Common Room? Did you know that there was an Honors Colloquium that took groups of UA Honors students to the Cleveland Art Museum regularly? Come to this talk with your questions about Honors at UA, and your answer to the question in the title of this presentation.
