Marc P. Gertz is a partner with the firm of Goldman & Rosen, Ltd., in Akron, Ohio, where his practice is concentrated in bankruptcy and commercial law. He has lectured on bankruptcy law at Cleveland State University Business School, The University of Akron School of Law, and before the Akron Bar Association, as well as the Cuyahoga County Bar Association. He has also spoken at various National Business Institute, Inc. seminars on topics related to bankruptcy.
A member of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees and the American Bankruptcy Institute, Mr. Gertz also serves on the panel of Chapter 7 Trustees. He has twice been chairman of the Akron Bar Association Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section. He is a contributing author for "Chapter 7 Consumer Bankruptcy Strategies", Aspatore Publishing, 2011. He has been practicing law for thirty eight years.
Mr. Gertz received his B.S. degree, cum laude, from the Ohio State University and his JD degree from the Ohio State University College of Law.
