Biography

Robyn Brown is joining Akron Law as an adjunct faculty member in fall 2025. She  is the director of immigration programs at World Relief. Before joining World Relief, she was the executive director of global engagement at The University of Akron. Other past positions include attorney advisor with the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) and director of immigration programs and services at Walsh University.

Brown has delivered trainings for EOIR, World Relief, Ohio American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and regional gatherings of NAFSA: Association of International Educators. She taught an undergraduate honors course on immigration at The University of Akron. She currently serves on the board of the International Welcome Center (New Franklin, Ohio) and previously served as chair of the Ohio International Consortium. 

Brown earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of St. Thomas School of Law (Minneapolis). She holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Akron.
