Undergraduate enrollment

In response to the unprecedented challenges we all are experiencing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The University of Akron is waiving the application fee for the remainder of the 2020 fall semester recruitment cycle.

High school students applying to UA for the 2021 summer or fall semesters will not be required to submit an ACT or SAT test score for admission consideration.

1. Complete the Application for Admission and submit $50 Application Fee

2. Receive Acceptance Packet

3. Attend New Student Orientation - enroll at wayne.uakron.edu/nso
  • Tour MCUC
  • Take photo for Zip Card
  • Learn about ordering books
  • Attend workshops focused on your success

4. Schedule Academic Advising appointment

  • Register for classes

Graduate enrollment

1. Complete the Application for Admission and submit $45 Application Fee

2. Submit official transcripts to the Graduate School from each college or university attended (except The University of Akron.)

  • Official transcripts must be sent to The University of Akron Graduate School, Polsky Building, Room 467, Akron, Ohio, 44325-2101.

3. Receive Acceptance Letter via e-mail

4. Enroll in graduate courses within one year of admission acceptance
