How to enroll

After you receive your admit letter, follow these steps to complete your enrollment.

Step 1 Get your UANet ID and password by calling the Zip Support Desk at 330-972-6888. Your UANet ID is your University network ID and gives you access to online registration and other features. You will need your student ID from your admit letter.
Step 2 Register for classes using My Akron.
  • Online registration begins on the date listed in your admit letter. How to register for classes.
  • If you would like to register for a class that requires a prerequisite, please send your completed Transient Permission Form from your home institution to records@uakron.edu. If your home institution does not have an official form, please have your academic advisor send an email with your University of Akron student ID number to records@uakron.edu acknowledging that you have permission to take the class.
Step 3 Pay your tuition and fees. While you are not eligible for financial assistance from UA, you may qualify for aid from your home institution. View UA’s payment options.
