Application Procedures for Post-baccalaureate Students

If you’ve already earned a bachelor’s degree from another accredited college or university and want to take additional undergraduate courses at UA, this option is for you.

Step 1: Apply to The University of Akron

Step 2:

• Submit your official college transcripts to the Office of Admissions
• After receiving admission, please complete the following steps:
  • Retrieve your UANet ID and password by calling the Zip Support Desk at 330-972-6888. Your UANet ID is your university network ID and gives you access to online features, including registration. You will need your student ID from your admit letter.
  • Register for classes: course registration may be completed online through My Akron
    You can also schedule an appointment with an advisor within the college of your intended major for assistance with course registration.
