Mediation Trainings

Mediation is a form of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). Unlike arbitration, another form of ADR, where a neutral third person listens to both sides and makes a decision, mediation involves a neutral third person assisting the people in trying to reach agreement to resolve the dispute.

The Center for Family Studies offers 12-hour General Mediation and 40-hour Divorce Mediation trainings. These trainings are certified by the Ohio Supreme Court Dispute Resolution Section. Continuing Education and Professional Development available.
