Kamryn Holtz, M.A. (they/them) is a psychology intern completing their doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of North Dakota. Drawing from a narrative therapy lens and a harm-reduction approach, Kamryn works collaboratively with clients to help them make meaningful changes in their lives. They have previously worked with people of all ages in community mental health settings, schools, and university college counseling centers. Kamryn's clinical interests include psychological assessment, interpersonal difficulties, self-injurious behaviors, suicidality, and emotion regulation. Their research focuses on the effects of legislative changes on school polices and teaching strategies among k-12 educators. In their free time, Kamryn enjoys print making, junk journaling, hiking, and spending time with their loved ones.
