Biography
Kirstyn Watts, M.S (she/her) is a psychology intern completing her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Cleveland State University. She has clinical experience across a variety of treatment settings including university counseling centers, community mental health agencies, and private practice. Kirstyn takes an integrative and collaborative approach to therapy to meet each client’s individual and developmental needs. She most frequently draws from Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Multicultural Therapy. Her research interests include burnout and chronic pain, with a particular focus on how chronic pain impacts family systems and interpersonal dynamics. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, reading, spending time with friends, and playing video games.
