Allergy and Special diet needs

Do you have food allergies or special diet needs? University Dining Services can accommodate almost all diet needs. See our policy on special accommodations.

Purchasing a Dining Plan

Commuter students / Staff / Faculty may purchase a Dining Plan at any time during the semester.  Your Dining Plan charge can be added to your Student Account before the end of the first week of classes.

If you are purchasing a plan after the first week of the semester, we require pre-payment.

To purchase a Dining Plan online with a credit card or electronic check please go to Purchase a Dining Plan web page, or you may print and complete the "Fall 2018 /Spring 2019 Dining Plan Application and contract conditions" and return it along with payment to any Zip Card Office.

Once you have completed your Dining Plan contract, please return via: fax 330-972-8420, e-mail:, or mail to: The University of Akron, Zip Card Office, Akron, Ohio 44325-4611.
