REPRESENTATIVES OF BRIC VISIT GEORGIA TECH BIOMIMICRY LABS

On Jun 7, 2018, BRIC Director of External Relations Emily Kennedy, BRIC faculty Hunter King, and Biomimicry Fellow Colleen Unsworth, along with Co-Director of Great Lakes Biomimicry (GLB) Carol Thaler, toured three biomimicry labs at Georgia Tech: Dan Goldman’s Complex Rheology And Biomechanics lab, David Hu’s Biolocomotion Lab, and Vladimir Tsukruk’s Surface Engineering and Molecular Assemblies lab. These labs are affiliated with GA Tech’s Center for Biologically Inspired Design (CBID). The following day, the BRIC / GLB crew met with leadership from CBID / PatternFox Consulting to discuss collaborative pursuits.
