Launched in April, the center will serve as a research base for faculty, undergraduate and graduate students to develop new finishing technologies for the manufacturing sector.

The center is designed to aid industry through its improvement of traditional manufacturing operations while also adding a distinctive learning environment for engineering students.

The 15,800 square foot facility will house industrial testing and robotic equipment as well as a centerless grinding machine and additional faculty office space.
