What's in a name? Reflecting our majors' and faculty emphases, this year we changed our name from the cumbersome "Classical Studies, Anthropology and Archaeology" to "Anthropology and Classical Studies"(ACS). It's still a long name, reflecting our unusual breadth. And no, we haven't abandoned archaeology but, like most American universities, now include it in anthropology.
