The University of Akron's Workforce Development and Continuing Education Division is accepting registration for noncredit courses beginning Jan. 8 through May 29.
More than 300 noncredit courses are offered in computers, business, leadership and management, professional development, certification, exam preparation, languages, art and photography. Courses vary in length from three-hour workshops to 35-hour computer certification classes. Many online courses are available.
Free Executive Overview breakfasts will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 20 for Project Management, Jan. 27 for Lean and Feb. 5 for Six Sigma. Overview seminars will be held at Akron General Medical Wellness Center in Montrose. Pre-registration is required.
