The University of Akron, Workforce Development and Continuing Education is offering a one-day "Do It Yourself" wedding planning workshop on Saturday, March 3, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Akron Art Museum, One South High St., near campus.
Titled, A D.I.Y. "I DO," the class is designed to help couples, family, friends and the bridal party with how to create a timetable and stick to it. Attendees learn how to maneuver through the details of wedding planning, find online resources, avoid pitfalls, use creative ideas to personalize their weddings, and what to ask and expect from vendors.
Cost of the seminar is $149 and includes lunch.
