Biography
Anthony Stratis is a seasoned political strategist, consultant, and educator with extensive experience across more than 40 political campaigns throughout Ohio and beyond. As the Principal Consultant at Colossus Strategies & Consulting, which he founded in 2022, Anthony specializes in holistic growth and change strategies for corporate, non-profit, governmental, and political clients. He also serves as the youngest Board President in the history of the Western Reserve Transit Authority, where he has led the initiative to provide free bus transit to riders throughout the Mahoning Valley. Anthony’s professional background includes significant work in education technology and courseware development, and he currently serves as an education consultant for Hawkes Learning. He holds a Master’s in Applied Politics from The University of Akron and the Ray C. Bliss Institute of Applied Politics, where he also earned recognition as the University’s 2012 Homecoming King.
Anthony brings his real-world expertise into the classroom as an instructor for Fundamentals of the Digital Campaign at The University of Akron, blending data-driven strategy with modern communication techniques to prepare students for the evolving landscape of political engagement. His teaching is shaped by years of hands-on leadership in campaign strategy, communications, fundraising, and community engagement. Outside of his professional work, Anthony is a proud husband and dad, grounding his commitment to public service in the values of family, community, and ethical leadership. He is dedicated to empowering the next generation of political professionals through practical skill-building and innovative digital practices that equip students to thrive in today’s fast-paced campaign environment.
