Certified Peer Educator Program
Certified Peer Educators are students who help fellow students make healthy, or healthier, choices. After completing a course the educators are certified by the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators. Training includes:
- Making effective change
- Active listening
- Crisis response
- Bystander intervention
- Empowering others
- Signs and symptoms of overdose
- Rescue breathing
- Administering Naloxone
- Alcohol and drug addiction
- Gender identity and sexuality
- Responding to disclosure of gender-based misconduct
