On May 7, 2018, Biomimicry Fellow Colleen Unsworth presented “Biomimicry Research: Step-wise Process and Biomechanical Approach” to an audience of ~35 PreK-college educators representing public schools, private schools, and informal learning destinations (e.g. museums, zoos). Many of the educators in attendance were members of Great Lakes Biomimicry’s Education Consortium and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History’s Educator Advisory Council. Colleen’s presentation was also live-streamed for remote viewing, at the request of Fran Buchholzer, a member of Great Lakes Biomimicry’s board and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History’s board of trustees.
