The start of a new year commences a fresh start with the Akron Global Polymer Academy's (AGPA) outreach. The outreach extends far beyond polymers in the college and on campus, but expands to a number of local schools and all levels of education.
Over the next couple of weeks, outreach will be flourishing with the beginning of the science fair season. AGPA’s John Fellenstein (pictured) will be judging science fairs taking place at Mater Dei Elementary School in Wickliffe, North High School in Akron, Warner Girls Leadership Academy in Cleveland, and St. Paul’s Elementary School in Canton.
Additionally, three of the four fairs will have the opportunity to qualify for the Western Reserve District 5 Science day held on UA’s campus on March 18.
AGPA is committed to providing a great number of opportunities for teachers and students to experience science through a variety of approaches. This upcoming span of outreach is only the beginning of an exciting year ahead for AGPA.
