The University of Akron School of Music is pleased to announce details for the 2019 Trumpet Day. Presented by The International Trumpet Guild of Akron in conjunction with the UA Undergraduate Student Government and the UA School of Music.

1 - 1:30 p.m. - Warm-up Session
1:30 - 2 p.m. – Presentation by Fred Powell
2 - 3 p.m. – Masterclass
3 - 3:45 p.m. – Breakout Session 1
3:45 - 4:45 p.m. – Masterclass
4:45 - 5:30 p.m. - Dinner Break
5:30 - 6:15 p.m. – Breakout Session 2
6:15 - 7 p.m. – Exhibit Break
7 p.m. – Closing Recital featuring Trumpet Day faculty
Masterclasses
Students are encouraged to sign up to perform as a part of the masterclasses. These masterclasses will be centered around OMEA Solo Music Solo Class (A, B, and C).
