RETHINKING RACE: Black, White and Beyond

Feb. 20 – March 5, 2022

A combination of virtual and in-person programs in which race and race-related issues can be discussed, examined, and hopefully, better understood through conversations, film, and speakers. Rethinking Race hopes to engage the public with important topics such as diversity in the workplace and awareness of issues and culture.

Please Note – Many events for Rethinking Race are still in development and will continue to be added throughout January and February 2022. We encourage students, faculty, staff and members of the Akron community to visit the Rethinking Race calendar often between now and February to see what is being offered, get involved, and RSVP for events.

All events are open to the public, and indoor on-campus events require a mask per University policy.
