Start a New Student Organization

If you would like to start a new student organization, please complete the Start a New Student Organization Form on RooConnect. After completing this form, a SOuRCe staff member will contact you regarding an in-person meeting to discuss your proposed organization, and next steps in the process.

Once the Start a New Student Organization Form has been approved and the meeting with the SOuRCe has been held, you will have 60 calendar days to complete the paperwork and submit final drafts in the New Student Organization Final Approval Form on RooConnect.

The new student organization process is open from the 2nd Friday of September – the Friday of Fall Finals week. It opens again from the 1st Friday of February – the Friday of Spring Finals week. All components of the new student organization process must be completed within these timeframes.
