Dear Faculty & Staff,
During this Thanksgiving season, I want to personally express my gratitude to you and other hard-working faculty members, staff, and contract professionals here at The University of Akron. I am most appreciative of your efforts to provide a quality education, supply exceptional service to our students, and generally support the University.
We have achieved great progress this past year through strong collaborative and collective effort. Each time one of us chooses to do more for a student, lend a hand to a colleague, or promote UA to friends, family or neighbors, we incrementally increase our momentum. I am proud to be a member of this University family.
I hope that we can all use this holiday weekend to slow down a little, focus on the significant, lift up our eyes in a spirit of gratitude, and appreciate the things around us that matter most.
