Biography

Mike serves as the Dean of Students and Associate Vice President in the Dean of Students Office. Mike provides leadership for the team and assists students following the submission of CARE reports or Title IX reports. In his spare time, Mike plays the piano and works on carpentry projects in a small shop.

Mike has provided leadership for the Dean of Students office since 2014 and has worked at The University of Akron since 2004.

Mike also was previously elected to serve as Chair of the Standing Committee for Men and Masculinities of the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) and has served on the organization governing board.

Mike has a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science having studied Psychology and College Student Personnel.
