Stats about the event

  • 47 FLL teams participated over the weekend (approx. 300 students from grades 4-8)
  • 11 Jr. FLL teams (approx. 50 students from grades K-3)
  • 100+ volunteers
  • 31 UA students (not including Student Union staff)
  • 11 faculty and staff from the Colleges of Education, Engineering & Business
  • Numerous businesses were represented:  Rockwell, Cisco, LCCC, Maxion Wheels, NASA to name a few
  • The UA NASA Lunar robotics team demonstrated their robot
  • A. Schullman and Rockwell Automation provided financial support
  • And, of course, Zippy was there for pictures with the students
