Biography

Dr. Jennifer Lillard joined UA in 2017 and serves as the Program Director for the Corrosion Engineering Technology program.  Prior to joining UA she held the following positions:  Materials Engineer at BWXT, Inc., Nuclear Operations Group, Barberton, OH; Scientist (2005 - 2013), Acting Deputy Group Leader (2010 - 2011), Project Leader (2008 - 2011), Quarterly Speaker (2007 - 2011), Process Engineer (1999 - 2008), and Postdoctoral Fellow (1998 - 2000) all while at Los Alamos National Laboratory, Los Alamos, NM; Teaching Assistant and Laboratory Instructor at the University of Virginia. 

Dr. Lillard is a member of NACE International, American Society for Quality, and ASM.  Additionally, she received several awards while at the Los Alamos National Laboratory including the Defense Programs Award of Excellence (2002, 2007, 2010), the Pollution Prevention Award (2010), and the Distinguished Performance Award (2008).
