We are open

Certified family nurse practitioner healthcare providers in the office offer appointments to degree-seeking students and employees of the University. Most visits are $15. Office hours follow:

  • Monday: 8 a.m. to noon and 1-5 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 8 a.m. to noon and 1-5 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 8 a.m. to noon and 1-5 p.m.
  • Thursday: 8 a.m. to noon and 1-7 p.m.
  • Friday: 8 a.m. to noon and 1-5 p.m.
  • Closed on Saturday, Sunday and University recognized holidays.

Throughout the semester, Student Health Services is open until 7 p.m. on Thursdays.

Visits are by appointment to maintain social distancing and allow for infection control measures. There are same-day appointments available. 

We are in the Student Recreation and Wellness building, Suite 260.

Glad you asked: Does Student Health Services provide class-absence excuses?

Answer: No, we do not provide absence excuses for students who miss a class, presentation, exam or other academic responsibility. If you are ill, contact your professors before an absence to make arrangements for any classes or deadlines that may be missed.

Our services

General, primary health care

  • Evaluation & treatment of uncomplicated illness and injury
  • Immunizations/Tuberculin skin testing
  • Academically required physical examinations
  • Referral assistance for health concerns beyond the scope of the department

Well Women's Clinic

  • Annual women's gynecological exams including PAP smears, cervical cancer screening and testing for sexually transmitted infections
  • Patient information and education about healthy & safe lifestyle practices and contraceptive options
