Student Organizations

The School of Nursing encourages all BSN students to become involved in leadership opportunities.  The School views leadership is an important skill to be developed while pursuing the BSN.  The student nurse must prepare to become a member of a profession that encompasses the values of altruism, autonomy, human dignity, integrity and social justice (taken from "The Essential of Baccalaureate Education for Professional Nursing Practice", American Association of Colleges of Nursing).  Leadership provides excellent opportunities to develop each of these values.

The Student Success Center coordinates two annual leadership events in order to familiarize students with the leadership opportunities available to them through the college.
