Campus impacted by new compliance program to manage copier use

A more centralized and efficient copier management compliance program is being enforced as part of the balanced budget effort.  This mandatory compliance program will impact all colleges and departments across campus.  The new effort, recommended by the Procurement Initiative group, is expected to save hundreds of thousands of dollars when all departments and colleges are in compliance.   The goal is to “right-size” printing device and supply use throughout campus. 

What might this mean for you?

  • The use of individual printers must be newly justified.
  • The redesign of shared printing devices will replace the need for many desktop printers.
  • Department work practices will change to comply with the new program.
  • This program will be the only accepted method of obtaining printing devices and supplies.
