- Campus fire extinguishers are obtained and maintained by EOHS.
- If you notice a missing or damaged fire extinguisher, please notify EOHS.
- Fire extinguishers should be acquired for special events (e.g., cookouts, concerts, scientific demonstrations, etc.) on University owned and operated property. Contact EOHS at 330-972-6866 to discuss obtaining fire extinguishers for your event.
- Fire extinguishers are rated according to the types of fires on which they can be used. The rating can be found on the extinguisher faceplate as noted in Figure 1.
