The ISS group manages email, calendaring and chat services for the UA community. These services include:

• Microsoft Exchange (for faculty and staff)
• Microsoft Live Communications
• Blackberry Enterprise Server, integration betwween Exchange and Blackberry devices
• Google Apps at Akron (for students and alumni, includes Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Chat, Groups)
• Sympa, an open source mailing list management system
• Proofpoint, an email filtering system
