Lambda Chi Alpha is a fraternity which runs on core values, scholastic achievement, and most importantly brotherhood. The Gamma Alpha Chapter (Akron Chapter) of Lambda Chi Alpha was founded in 1919 just ten years after our national founding. The brothers of this chapter know what it means to be a chivalrous leader. By joining Lambda Chi Alpha we guarantee that you will become a better man by living our seven core values which are Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Service and Stewardship, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage. These core values are taught to each brother during our fraternity education program which lasts seven weeks each semester. Lambda Chi Alpha also has a strong focus on scholastics with a requirement of a 2.5 gpa in order to join and stay in good academic standing with the fraternity. We also have great academic programming to ensure that our brothers are getting the help they need.
The final and in my opinion the best part about Lambda Chi Alpha is our brotherhood. I know that I speak for every member of our great fraternity when I say that every one of the guys in Lambda Chi Alpha are my brothers, and we are all willing to do anything to help one another out. When I graduated from High School I was afraid I would not make as good of friends as I had during my High School years, however Lambda Chi Alpha made all of those fears go away. Brotherhood is not something that can be explained on paper or by me telling you about it, brotherhood is something that has to be experienced. So I invite anyone of you that reads this to contact either myself or our Recruitment Chairman and have the experience of a lifetime by truly seeing what it’s like to be a brother of Lambda Chi Alpha.
